Your First Visit
Seeing a new dentist for the first time can make most people feel anxious. At Delroy Park Dental Care, we understand those concerns. That’s why one of the top priorities of our team is to help put you at ease.
When You First Arrive
During your first visit, we will need a few pages of new patient paperwork to be completed. If possible, please bring a copy of your previous dental records.
In most cases, you will be seen straightaway. Being that we are also an oral surgery facility, there may be time now and then when our dentists are unable to step away from our patients for a bit. Should this be the case, we will inform you once you arrive for your visit.
Your First Checkup with Us
Please reserve approximately one hour for your first checkup with us. During this visit, we will review any concerns that you may have, take a couple of x-rays if required and perform a thorough scale and cleaning. Some of our patients have even referred to our dentists as the “most gentle dentists” that they have ever seen!
We utilise high-quality diagnostic cameras and digital X-rays to pinpoint areas of tooth decay at their earliest stages. Should any dental treatment be necessary, we will discuss our findings with you, and the most appropriate care method for your oral health.
Paying for Treatment
Our in-house HICAPS machine allows us to file your insurance on the spot, leaving you only responsible for the gap, if applicable.
